From Uzere in Delta State, Nigeria, Savage
(also known as Savage Tha Beast) has
been on a fast climb from local talent to
continental force. He started making music
at 16 as part of a six-man band called
Team Nawty, driven purely by a love for the
craft. Today, he blends singing, rapping,
and songwriting with a distinct Afro-beat
sound, channelling both his Nigerian roots
with global finesse.

Splitting his time
between creating music, shooting visuals,
and building his clothing line, Savage
Space Couture, he’s become a proud flagbearer for Nigeria and the new
generation of African artists pushing
beyond borders. His breakout came with Confident featuring BNXN, a debut single that amassed over 40 million streams and put him firmly on the map.

That success set the stage for his first project, Utopia, which opened doors to
collaborations with Victony, Emtee, and Jay Teazer. In 2024, Savage took another leap with his second album, That Uzere Boy, a critically acclaimed release featuring DJ Maphorisa, WurlD, and King Perryy. With his sound now resonating far beyond
Africa, Savage is proving that his trajectory
is nothing short of intentional and
international.
